Move Progress

Markeith Price is a creator, motivator, and 2 x Paralympian.  A man of many gifts and talents, he is best known for running fast and jumping far all while only being able to make out details no more than 5 feet in front of him. Markeith is a visually impaired and blind athlete in the sport of Track and Field for Team USA. Markeith was born with a rare eye condition called Optic Nerve Atrophy. One thing Markeith encourages is to believe in who you are and to love yourself. Markeith has alway pushed the boundary to move and progress in his life. He has competed for more than 20 years of his life around the world representing the USA. He has competed in 4 Paralympic World Championships,  3 ParaPanAmerican Games, and 2 Paralympic Games in the T13 and F13 class. Markeith's main events are the 400-meters and the Long Jump. He is going for his third Paralympic Games.

 

A man of many trades, Markeith is a creator within many mediums. With his passion for technology and different art forms, Markeith aspires to continue growing his business Move Progress Productions and showcase his talents through videography, music production, and motivational speaking. Another great thing about Markeith is his love of books. He listens to many audiobooks around topics such as sociology, economics, space, computer science, law and spirituality. He welcomes and hosts conversations about life amongst a great cup of coffee.

 

In 2013, Markeith created a foundation, I C You Foundation Inc. I C You Foundation Inc. puts their efforts to provide scholarships and resources to the blind and visually impaired community.
